No New Posts Theater District

The Theater District lives up to its name, but there's more to it than just the stage. Luxurious residences and opulent hotels can be found to the west of the district, and there are also plenty of enormous stores in and around Times Square. Restaurants tend to be either super-tacky or highly upmarket, but whether you slum or splurge, know that it'll be ridiculously overpriced. Blame the tourists.

No New Posts Times Square

Neon lights, video screens and relentless swarms of tourists make Times Square what it is. At night, its blaze of lurid colours lighting up the darkness of the city is an unforgettable sight. It's incredibly crowded at all times and is heaven or hell depending on your viewpoint, but nothing in between.

No New Posts Hell's Kitchen

Hell's Kitchen is actually named Clinton, but it's very rarely called that. It used to be a dangerous place to live, hence the name, but in recent years it's become very gentrified. Popular with yuppies and hipsters - actors, dancers, artists, musicians - it's full of nightclubs and warehouse-style lofts.

No New Posts Midtown East

Midtown East is like the core of Manhattan, housing its most famous landmarks. The Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, Grand Central Terminal, New York Public Library, Rockefeller Center, the UN Headquarters and plenty of museums and galleries. The stores, restaurants and bars cater to an elite clientele.
