Welcome to CHAOS IS A FRIEND OF MINE, an "almost real life" site set predominantly in Manhattan, New York City.
'Chaos' sees an alternate universe in which horoscopes and astrology hold a great deal of sway over our everyday lives. What were once harmless, light-hearted predictions are actually coming true — and often in extreme and unexpected ways. On a regular basis, general horoscopes will be sent out to show what characters from each sign will be facing, coupled with something extra for characters from a particular sign. 'Horoscope Events' are random occurrences happening to individual characters, which can be as lucky or unlucky as you are. Read more here. 'Chaos' offers a creative, friendly writing environment with many more opportunities than the generic real life site. We are currently set in June of 2013. |

The least populated borough of NYC, it's home to many writers, artists and filmmakers as space is affordable yet close to Manhattan. It has thousands of acres of parkland, some wooded areas, and five small uninhabited islands with plenty of wildlife. Tourist attractions include Historic Richmond Town and Staten Island Zoo.
