DAUGHTER TAKEN BY KENDALL. The other two characters are still open!
Logan's daughter is the apple of his eye, but whether she feels the same way about her old man is up to you. Her parents divorced messily when she was a child - read the ex-wife's section for more info - and she will have been aware of how much bad blood existed between them, even if she didn't understand why. Since then, Logan's been a "weekend dad" - appearing at sporadic intervals, bringing her gifts back from wherever he's been working, spoiling her when he sees her but not being a regular presence. He's also the dad who turns up to pick her up from the school gates wearing a leather jacket and sitting astride a ridiculous motorcycle, so she'll probably either think he's a cool dad or the most humiliating, embarrassing mid-life crisis ever to walk this earth.
In the last year or so, Logan's pretty much settled down in Tribeca in Lower Manhattan, so she's seeing a lot more of him - particularly as he and his ex-wife are starting to patch things up. He and his daughter are sort of edging around each other, trying to build that parent/child relationship almost from scratch, which is tricky as she's becoming a teenager. Logan's determined that they're going to be close, whether she likes it or not. Maybe she's put him on a pedestal and is eager to please him. Maybe she's bitter that he's been such an inconsistent father and wants nothing to do with him. Or maybe she hates her mother's new boyfriend and has this misguided Parent Trap idea of getting Logan and his ex-wife back together. That's completely up to you. But either way, they're going to have a pretty profound effect on each other's lives. Especially because, unfortunately for her, Logan is going to end up with her English teacher Emma Irving.
Her personality is pretty much completely up to you, but I don't see her being too rebellious - her parents wouldn't let her get away with any crap. I'd love it if you used Amandla Stenberg or Hailee Steinfeld as the play-by, but it's not set in stone. She's thirteen or fourteen, in her last year of middle school. It'd be great if you could run her name by me before you make her, seeing as it needs to be something he'd realistically have agreed to.

Open Name. Ex-wife. 38 to 40.
Logan and his ex-wife got married at about twenty-two, having met during college. They seemed like a reaaaally good match. Each other's first love etc etc, all the cliches - they were crazy about each other. Their daughter was born a couple of years into their marriage, long before they were actually financially stable enough to support a child, but technically she was planned - in a slapdash sort of way. Their whole relationship was pretty impulsive and volatile and moved very fast. I picture the ex-wife being an Aries or another Scorpio, and if you skim through this page or this page you'll get a pretty much perfect idea of what their dynamic would have been like.
It was basically Logan's job that broke up their marriage - that and his bad habits. His work as a session musician has him travelling a lot, and in his mid/late twenties he spent a lot of time away from his wife and daughter, accompanying various rock bands on tour. He got too caught up in that lifestyle, and while he never actually had a drug problem himself, it was that kind of environment. A bigger problem the distance caused was jealousy - though, unexpectedly, more on Logan's part than the wife's. Even though he was the person given far too many opportunities to be unfaithful - which, chances are, he didn't take - he became paranoid that she had some other man when he wasn't around. The explosive aspect of their relationship came into play in a completely different way from before, and they struggled through another couple of years with their daughter witnessing far too many fights that woke the neighbours before finally agreeing to separate/divorce.
Both of them have a tendency to hold grudges, so they were on such bad terms by this point that the ex-wife really restricted Logan's access to his daughter. The kid basically knew him through sporadic visits and expensive presents, while he lived a ~bachelor lifestyle. He hadn't really moved on from the ex-wife and hasn't really had any long-term relationships since her, up until this point. She found it a lot easier to get over it. In the last few years, though, they've buried the hatchet and are moving towards an amicable, civil relationship with each other, if only for the sake of their daughter. The problem is that Logan, being a typically intense Scorpio, still expects to protect/look after and be part of the life of this ex-wife even though they'll never get back together, and she just wants him to back the fuck off. The arrival of her fiance - the next character in the request - is even more of a flame being held right up to the gunpowder.
Her job is up to you, but whatever it is, she'll have become successful at it.

Open Play-by. Needs to look like the daughter.
Open Name. "The Other Guy". 40+.
This is the ex-wife's new fiance, who couldn't be more opposite to Logan. He's a good man: respectable career, highly successful, responsible, with a really strong sense of morality. He sees himself as the protector who provides for his family. He's a widower - how and when his wife died is up to you - and he's the father of teenage children himself. He's got an almost aggressive sense of loyalty and will do anything for the people he loves. Right now the person he loves most is Logan's ex-wife - and by extension, Logan's daughter.
Over the years he's known her, the ex-wife has told him all about her marriage to Logan and how fucked up it was, and he's got it into his head that it's not good for Logan to come back into their lives. He's probably been with the ex-wife for a few years, and in that time he's been more of a role model for the daughter than Logan ever has. Maybe he's particularly fond of her because his own children have almost rejected him - maybe they're ~*rebellious teenage tearaways. He thinks that Logan's coming back only to ditch and fuck things up again - plus there's that aspect of jealousy, just the faintest threat that maybe that old relationship will rekindle and he'll lose his fiancee to her ex. Then on the other side of things, Logan is highly suspicious and regards the fiance as an interloper, an intruder. Neither of them trusts the other. They're spitting bolts. Each one wants the other gone.
