Alice found herself smiling as Bradbury snapped away, her blue eyes a pleasant shade of bemusement. There was something fascinating in watching others do what they loved. In Bradbury's case, it was clearly photography. In Alice's case . . . it was dancing. She loved dancing more than anything; it was her escape and her passion, and she could move her body to anything with a beat.
She grinned as she spoke; clearly she'd taken the right person. She allowed her attention to wander from his pleased expression, taking in all the colors, and the gentle breeze that played lazily with her hair. She tucked a stray golden lock behind her ear and glanced back at him, reveling in the thought that perhaps she'd found someone who shared her love for adventure. He probably had his fair share of secrets, just as she did, and he was by no means dull. There was, in fact, so much she didn't know about Bradbury, and that was exciting -- because she was more than content to sit back and enjoy the ride of spending the day with him.
Alice allowed herself to lean back on her elbows, stretching her legs out; she was delighted by the warmth of the sun as it danced across her skin. She glanced in his direction again as she heard the snap of the camera, an effortless smile spreading across her face as he plopped down next to her.
"You look quite a bit like Alice....at least, I think so."
She smiled, bemusement in her striking blue eyes. "Unfortunately, you don't look much like a rabbit. But I'm sure we can still make this work," she mused teasingly. But he was by no means the first person to say that. He should have seen her as a girl; always dressed in blue, her golden hair falling down her back in sleek plaits, her cat Oliver her constant companion. She still had those long blonde tresses, though, and her favorite color was still blue. And she was prone to love anything eccentric and outlandish. Anything new and exciting and adventuresome.
"In your wandering, have you found any other places like this? If so, you're gonna have to share them with me."
She sent him a knowing, truly Cheshire-cat smirk at that. "Maybe. I can't give away all my secrets at once, though," she answered. But smiling again, she nodded, "I'd be happy to show you," she added, considering what it would be like to finally have someone to bring on her little escapades. The thought was thrilling and exciting, simply because Alice loved involving anyone in her playful schemes.
